It was the intention of the Administrator to allow the "Messina" to return to Nauru for cargo, but having ascertained on arrival that the "Matunga" had departed, although Mr, Lucas (Burns Philp Representative) stated he would hold this vessel back, the Administrator then decided to send the "Messina" on to Sydney with the Prisoners and Members of the Expeditionary Force sentenced to terms of imprisonment by Court Martial.

Health of the Troops continues excellent.
