Here we are about a mile from Madeira - it is a most glorious sight - the morng. is Calm - the water the deepest intensest Blue - you may see down an immenses depth - the Dolphins are playing about shining the most vivid colors in the sun - Some have been caught which we had for Breakfast - it tastes like mackerel - the Island we are on the N. side rises to an immense height = the mate was throwg. at Dolphins yesterday
