THURSDAY - 14TH JANUARY 1915:

A number of private wireless telegraphic messages from Officers and Troops were transmitted.

Owing to the inclemency of the weather, and the number of men suffering from sea sickness, company parades were abandoned.

At midnight the ship had sailed 274 nautical miles - 1,444 miles since leaving Rabaul.
