WEDNESDAY - 16TH DECEMBER 1914:
An Official Dinner was given by the Officers present in Rabaul to the Administrator and his Staff.
The "Fantone" was sighted off Cape Gazelle at dusk.
A wireless message was received, stating that the "Eastern" would arrive about mid-day to-morrow.
The decision of Court Martial on No. 415 Private M Solomons was announced; the accused was charged with forgery and uttering, but was acquitted.
The health of the troops is satisfactory.
