SUNDAY - 20th DECR.14:

The Administrator, accompanied by Colonel Pethebridge and Major Toll, paid a visit by motor to Bita Paka Wireless Station.

The "Meklong" left at 4-0 p.m. for Kieta, Lieut. Holmes being on board representing the Administrator. Captain Ogilvie, with 2 Officers and 23 other ranks, and Captain Ford, A.M.C., will form garrison there and relieve troops under command of Lieut. Maughan.

The "Matunga" arrived at 8-0 a.m., and a mail was received, sorted and delivered to the troops. In accordance with instructions previously received by wireless, mails were censored. No information regarding destination of Expedition was disclosed.

Lieut. Sherbon who proceeded to Sydney in charge of guard per S.S. "Messina" on 14th November, returned by the "Matunga".

The health of troops is satisfactory.
