 I suppose you and Missus have been conspiring to make an old Uncle of me    Ole "Ablett for shame.  'Pon [upon] my word can hardly fancy you a married man.
How do you look under The trying circumstances - Think of  the little Frocks and shoes You'll have to buy -
How is my old frd (friend) Leo. Along [?] the polite & attentive [?]
I heard from [?] the other day he is rubbing along all
[?] in the neighb'd [neighbourhood] of some of the Diggings, havent seen him now for the best part of three years, Well old fellow must begin to thank of [?]
