amusement just out of my line now I suppose have hardly
been on the water a doz times since coming into the Colony and have occasionally plenty of [?] about but it is certainly not for pleasure.  10 or 12 hrs [hours] a day in the saddle is far from pleasant [indecipherable] be country where carts cannot be used.
