January 5 SaturdayEvery Thing much the same - I am getting very homesick to be back with my ain folk.
6th cont.were I don't know – the blighters returned again at 6 but - did not come so close. It really is a great nerve test, a terrible test.Had a letter from Mary today. She has rejoined the 38th and is in Italy. How it has made me long to go. Why should I be alone I wonder.
