March 25 MondayWent to Horseferry Rd – then walked down Oxford & Regent Streets. After coming from France it surprises me at the amount of wealth in London – it seems to me there is lavishness everywhere & certainly no signs of war concerts – theatres – walking in Parks – beautiful full dresses – things are dear but still they are bought just the same. And the independent way the salespeople have – take it or leave it kind of style.
