December 25 Wednesday
It is the most delightful Xmas – everybody is so happy.

[Page inverted] was no sun & The morning was sultry & somewhat cloudy. The Ship had anchored about 4 miles out. And then I heard someone call out – We can't get off – they are just going to take off the W.A. troops & we are off again & calling in at Adelaide for coal – I couldn't believe it we are a clean ship not a case of sickness on board and surely
