Buffalo Portsmouth Harbour July 1st 1801

Sir/

I had the honor of receiving your letter of the 29th: Ulto: enclosed to me by my Uncle Governor Hunter, and am happy to find you have got the Wool, Seeds, and dried Plants - the Keg containing the Water Mole and other articles in Spirits, and the box containing specimens of Ores and Stones I have still on board - I have also a Box marked No: 67, in which there is a Jar, but the contints I know not.  I wait your commands, and am, Sir, with the greatest respect,

Your most obedient humble Servant
Wm Kent.

P.S.
The Lillies and Norfolk Island Flax Plants I packed in Wet Moss and sent them directed to you in Soho Square some time ago, which I hope you received safe.
