Norwich Aug. 1. 1798.

Dear Sir

          Having been some days from home I have not been able to thank you for your letter till now.  Dr. Roxburgh says he has sent me (to your care) a box of Cape Phalaenae as well as the bottle of nutmegs.  If you want specimens of the Phalaenae, he desires me to give you them, & to beg of you some of their cocoons in return wch. he has sent you.  I shall be greatly obliged to you to send me these things in a parcel by Mail from Golden Cross Charing Cross, & with them a packet which Mrs. Charlotte Smith will in 4 or 5 days send to your house for me.  I hope you will excuse this trouble, & that
