You would not be surprised, as you seem to be, that Seeds collected for me should be sold to the Masters of the transports & others, if you had part a single month in this Colony. Burton will be useful & in his idle hours shall collect Seeds, he has got specimens of the Plants sent home, & I send you a drawing of the War-ret-tah, several plants of which are in the tubs. I am getting drawings of all the plants & animals, they are done correctly, & about two hundred are finished. In a former letter, I believe in more than one, I mentioned having sent from the Rio, when I stopped there in the passage out, specimens of the different Ipecacuhane
