I wish the Expence of that Settlement had been bestowed on this - -- however this is between our 
selves --- We have lately had a disturbance with the numerous Irish sent here for sedition --- & which  they under some secret leader possessed themselves of the Settlers Arms & would have done much damage if not immediately prevented by these [indecipherable] measures which [indecipherable] other. 
I have sent other Sydney papers which will give you every information you can wish on the subject sufficient to say that every thing is well terminated --- [indecipherable] will induce me to [indecipherable] settle the Coal River  I [indecipherable]
