In hunting for a Copy of your 'Instructions respecting the porpoises Garden I found your letters  respecting Suttor &c- of whom I have informed you in the beginning of this letter, he has only got his 200 Acres of Ground yet but the other hundred will soon be added to it -  In your letter you mention the Spring Grass, it abounds here - & I hope soon to see the carob Tree grow & Flourish [?] - I am frequently attacked with our Old friend the Gout, which I think is turning into an acute Rheumatism  But thank God I am never so ill as to neglect or avoid any function of my Duty, except at times I am disabled from going out for a fortnight after which I return quite fresh to the Charge -

By the enclosed from Cayley you will observe he wishes to go to the Southward which I shall be complied with in toto -
