The land intended for mangolds, Turnips &c is ploughed &c and ready for sowing, only waiting for sufficient rain to enable us to do so.

Potatoes - We shall get about Half a crop of these.

A Bullock Team will commence ploughing land for Cape barley on Monday. I hope to get in about eight acres.

Pigs - Should the present dry weather continue much longer we shall be obliged to kill a number of these after giving them a little maize.
