H. K. James Esqr

My dear Sir

An escape from a serious accident in this Store lowering down a cask into the Cellar so alarmed me most I am induced to ask your permission to have a back (doorway) Entrance into the Cellar instead of Hosting & lowering down. No danger could result to the building & the expense Very trifling. When the [indecipherable] loss of life is for a moment considered.

Yours Truly

R. Hutchinson

Mr Bible could report on this when you send him on the other matter.
