Dear Sir

I am in receipt of your note by this mornings post and I have the pleasure to say that I have disposed of these little Matters. I herewith enclose you a receipt from the Widow of the late Mr Thompson for £19.14/ referred to in your note. I send by the Railway this afternoon the two Glazed Sashes, addressed to you. They are both secured with Rails over the Glass to prevent breakage. "Young" assures me "they will travel quite safe". Therefore did not send any case to pack them into. They will be in time I suppose for the Butter Cast Monday.

Alas! Alas! We have had another fearful shipwreck at the Heads. I send you a supplement by this Post. The fine ship "Catherine Adamson" broken up to pieces - Twenty one lives lost.

I have not yet received the Wine, "too late for shipment this day.

Yours faithfully

R. Hutchinson
