Honorable J. Macarthur M.L.A.

Dear Sir

Having been out of Town for a few days on business and returned this Afternoon, I regret I could not earlier reply to your Esteemed favor of the 27 Inst. Acknowledging the receipt of the two Accounts Current to 30th June last. It affords me great gratification that they are likely to prove satisfactory & I hope & trust entirely to your approval.

The Amount £100. 0. 0 to be paid to the Credit of J & W Macarthur shall have my early attention with the proper instructions to the "Teller".

I have delivered the two Cases of Wine to Mr Cooper. Also the other two case of Messrs Montiefore & Co on a/c of MrBigge. The charge I would make on Mr Coopers Cases say thus
