might accompany it, although we last year felt ourselves bound to refuse the drafts drawn upon us in direct opposition to the conditions of an existing agreement; and left , as we were in total ignorance of the state of Mr Bowman's affairs, or the mode in which it was proposed to discharge our claim upon him, for the payment of which the Wool had in fact been previously pledged.

We forwarded to you by the Royal Par a copy of our annual Trade Report, which may not we hope be without interest to you; we now enclose a second copy in case of accident, and we have much pleasure in being able to add that our expectations with regard to our Wool market are being realized, the series of Sales which commenced yesterday having opened at an advance of fully 2d pld on October prices, more particularly for good medium Wool.
