in explanation, that altho' the rate of Interest, according to the Bond, would appear to be only five per cent per annum, - the law not allowing a higher rate in this Country, - yet as the money is to be employed in New South Wales, where no such restriction exists, it is clearly understood and stipulated, that seven per cent per annum, or Three Hundred & Fifty Pounds (£350-) half yearly is to be paid as Interest, in London, without any deduction or abatement whatever.
