has a pointed head --- the figure in the S[ydney] Mail ha s blunt thick head like the underground [indecipherable] -- Reedy has one specimen of a young pupa X certainly very like the young offspring of the [indecipherable] community.  I hope you will look at the the winged fellow again and see if he has not tapering antenna and long tapering legs, if so it is not the Phyll.  This is Reedy's specimen drawn from memory.  [sketch of the insect] Compare with engraving

X This pupa (Reedy's)  has its eyes on the surface of its head, whereas the [indecipherable] variety have their eyes at the side & overhung with an eyebrow.
