as to instruct the gardener who [indecipherable] up the Vine cuttings to sew them up completely, [as?] tricks may be played with them "en route" --
My desire is to gradually establish a Vineyard so that if I leave it will enhance the value of my little freehold and enable me to sell --  The soil is really first class, a rich red loam with granite
