I have no doubt that with your customary urbanity you will readily excuse the liberty I take in now addressing you, especially when you are made aware of the motive which has prompted me to take this step.
Allow me then at once to state that I am desirous of ascertaining 1st whether any scientific analysis has been made in this Colony of native-grown wines, especially with regard to the per centage of alchohol contained in them when sent into the market.?
2nd If such analysis have been made - where are the details to be found?  I have some vague recollection of having seen them in
