I wish to secure and take home with me to Scotland in the beginning of Jany next, Three Casks of the best qualities of Camden Wine and would like them in your store some time in December. One of the casks I wish to make a present of to the Marquis of Breadalbane and I would like it of the very best quality that the Camden vineyards produce. Mr Spires writes me that Captain Erskine took him home a cask of Wine from Camden from the Camden Cellars which is much admired by his friends as well as himself, but I will leave the selection of the quality to the Messrs MacArthurs and let them send me of the very best sorts, regardless of the cost, and the quantity each cask will contain, to be any quantity under fifty and not less than fourty gallons.
I trust you will oblige me by advising them early as, so as I may secure a good sort and oblige
