George was here yesterday, he is keeping very well. He hopes to get to Bidulla next week as James has to be there when his [indecipherable] comes to take the [indecipherable].

I am sorry to say he has lost a lot of plate & our dear [indecipherable] were taken also his desk broken open! even his eye glasses were taken & the case left! Do let me hear from you dearest Elizabeth & tell me of all from belongings & of James particularly!
