My dear Elizabeth

I really forget if I thanked you for the beautiful box of fruit. I think I did but Bessie thinks not so it is better done twice than you should think me ungrateful. I sent the box back to the Railway Station addressed. I am longing to hear if Sir Wm is pleased with Mrs Fords attempt 

and Kate is well pleased at it. She has led a very isolated life there & one of much trial. I hope you are all quite well Mama active & busy as usual. [indecipherable] very good account
