It is so trying for you at this time. Thanks for your wish to see us - I could not leave (as I have some young people coming for their holiday) till after next Monday week when if you are able to have us comfortably we would much like to spend a few days with you & I hope Philip could then come but we shall see how all suits then.  

be permitted to meet later, please tell him he has my grateful thanks for what he has done and with best love dear Elizabeth
