till Wednesday when he became worse & felt sure he had an attack of Pleurisy it proved true & the Dr at once said it was a severe case but hoped for him, but it pleased God otherwise and on Friday morning he passed away quite aware of his position & contented to bow to the call humbly trusting to his Saviour to the "Rock of Ages" as he said.  I think he had expected not to be long here from several things he said & did of late as if in preparation. I must
