My dear Elizabeth,

On Philip's return from Town last night he told me that your dear Mother is not so well as we could wish. Your Husband told him but I hope you will soon be able to send  me an improved account. There has been so much illness

it is growing in Melbourne under glass - Let me know if he would like them or if you would - Philip is gone to Tamworth for 3 weeks or so - Bessie enjoyed her fortnights [indecipherable]
