the Doctor will have explained all this I feel certain. I shall be so glad to hear he told me Sir Wm might be down tomorrow. I shall get Leslie to go to the Club & make enquiry for you all. We have had some sad news from dear Katie

he was asleep. Kate writes a few lines on the 4th just to show us God supports them in this great trial. It is a keen shaft that has entered her heart but she knows, & trusts in God & he will support her. I am wondering what they will do. Poor Katie the change is heavy for her with her delicate health.
