My dear Elizabeth

I had a line from Dr Brereton this morning to tell me that your dear child was suffering from Typhoid fever, but he did not say what he thought of the case. I hope the dear pet is better & that you

but of course they have been very anxious about him he believed himself he would die suddenly. On the 3rd May he was in good spirits, but said his arm was not right. It appears he must have gone to bed about midday
