in future write (or begin) my letters whenever I have leisure time as my little Pussy sometimes wants my attention just at the time that I meant to do something else, & she will not be put on one side for anything. I wish you could see little Baby, she is such a treasure to me and I often wonder that I could ever have said I did not care for babies. She is a little more than five weeks old, but already has a very good idea of laughing and she looks such a rogue with her bright little eyes. I feel so thankful she is so strong and healthy, she is a tolerable size and plump and round, but
