My dearest Mother

I have just received your 2nd note. Many thanks for it. A fine day at last & rather a hot one!

I am just about starting for Dr  Bel's for my last long sitting tomorrow will only be finishing off. He stopped one tooth very nicely yesterday.

Poor Emma came last evening she is very poorly from continued Diarhera? I can't spell it just now. She is engaged to go with Mrs St John. She sends all sorts of  love to the children & half cried
