Wednesday July 25th 1829

My beloved Brother,

I find that I have yet time to address a few hurried lines to you and altho'
I had previously determined not to write,  by this opportunity yet now I have learned that
the vessel is to be detained another day I cannot any longer delay to thank you for
your last affectionate note and the packet of beautiful paper which accompanied 
it. You must not be surprised at my apparent want of attention in not addressing
you more frequently nor imagine that it proceeds from any diminution of affection.
believe dearest Edward that although my love for you may not be frequently displayed in words as in long day occurrences of life if only towards an opportunity of being called

favourite written in ink. I think I'm a
very amiable little woman and that I'm hurting
a past assertions to us. His firming can
thunder in quit such & dismiss all
words of loves remembrances. You
would be pleased with my little fad weight.
"Sir" Maxin and you were lovers & breaking apart the pro=
mises to her, the finest of the family. Mrs. Kay is too
sleeping with Maxin & last night the herd. a little
fiver in thus hand. He was not expected to be keen
to far bliss. 1830 - 25- 2 a past disappointment to poor
Mrs Kay who was in harshly expectation of Philips
assensus. He has been exposed to much cold & hardship
and at own time he had any throu midshipman. The
firemen & 9 sailors to assert I'm on loved his own 
ship. The 2nd Captain states I died. But a height to run
