wish for a "hot wind", but through the force of circumstances I am here, and must make the best of things as I find them.

My Australian news are very discouraging on account of the enormous increase of rabbits on two of my Properties.  Surely the ingenuity of man will conquer that dreadful pest, which threatens to overun the the land.

Wool is still low, but it is improving in demand, and as stocks are low, it is very probable that prices will go up a little before the sales close.
