as they will come into competition with fleeces of animals that have been kept entirely under shelter, and that have been highly fed, and perhaps with 18 months growth of wool.  A fine close short wooled sheep with about 18 months growth would shew great superiority over a Camden merino with a years growth.  The Camden merino is long wooled very soft, fairly fine, but rather open, as all long wooled sheep are.  I therefore question whether it would be judicious to exhibit against such probable odds, but Mr. King will know.

Your care of Phylloxera seems a radical one.  I hope it may not return.  It was gratifying to find your tenants taking your council about their voting.
