My dear Mrs Onslow,

I had much pleasure in receiving your kind letter of the 10th Augt. and have to thank you for your prompt remittance of £18- 4/ being the proceeds of the sheep sale, which I think satisfactory, for although they looked well, and were stall fed for some time previously, they were no prepared for sale in the way which the Tasmanian and other sheep probably were. Wool grows continuously through the whole year, and two years growth is double
