lodged me higher than my humble capacity had a right to expect.  I am however ever grateful to you for your continued kindness, and I have a fond remembrance of your late Brother & Copartner from whom I also received the greatest kindness.  I wish to pay you a visit next Tuesday the 18th and unless I hear from you to the contrary I will take it for granted that it will then be convenient for you to receive me.
