I have yesterday purchased a large cattle station on Coopers Creek in S. Australia.  I gave £60000 cash for 8000 cattle and a well watered run of about 1,200,000 acres.  It is within half a days ride of the station I hold on the Queensland side of the border.  It was there that poor Burke & Wills died.  A railway station will within 6 months be within 160 miles of my run.  This is an investment
