My dear Sir William

I was very glad to hear that you had paid a visit to Sydney and that you are much improved in health.  I am also glad to hear that Mrs. Onslow is better.

You will be glad to hear that I have sold the most of my stations in N.S. Wales at a satisfactory price, viz. 30/ per head for 140000 sheep every thing on the stations given in half cash, balance extending over 7 years at 5%.  The area of the blocks 448000 acres.  Originally it was a waterless
