be able to spare time to examine a few of their fleeces.  The best Ewes are marked with notches on both ears, both back and front.  There are seven of them, the other 23 Ewes are without any a notch on the near ear.  The ram was shorn a month or 6 weeks earlier and has a longer staple.  I think you will like his wool. 

I feel confident that you will have the little flock managed to the best advantage, the only doubt I have is that the pasture may not suit them, as I observed a great preponderance
