baths;  and having a good house in Melbourne also, I could place a suit of apartments, in either house at your disposal.  A journey by sea would not fatigue you much.  My Brighton House is close to the Railway Station.

Allan was at the Mauritius where he was to be married to Miss Bowen on the 24th July, three days after I wrote.  Donald is at his shearing on the Darling, all the other members of our family are married, and Mrs. Campbell and myself are much alone.

Rain fell to a good extent yesterday and it was much wanted in many parts of
