I am glad to hear that the death of the forest has so much increased the grazing capabilities of Camden.  I daresay sheep as well as cattle would do well on the dead forest land now:  and with wool & lambs it ought to pay better than under cattle.  I observe that the floods trouble you with crops of weeds.  If they are not of the Bathurst Burr tribe perhaps sheep by crop feeding might keep them down.  I have observed that a dock is never seen on a sheep run, varigated thistles are also good for sheep.

My eldest sons (Finley & Allan) have just returned from a three months visit to their stations on the Darling.  They have a number of back runs without water, and they
