evils arising from the Selector not being bound to fence, and having a grazing right. If these points could be rectified it would be a permanent benefit and would induce conduce to the peace and prosperity of the country. Excuse my hurried letter.
We are all well here, only my youngest daughter Mrs. Anderson had to go home to England for medical advice about 6 months ago. We are thankful to hear that she is much better, and able to prepare to return by the "Whampoa".
My son Allan paid a visit to N. Caledonia a few months since, he passed through Sydney very hurriedly both going & returning, and he regretted he had not time to visit you at Camden as he fully intended doing. He tried to see you in Sydney but was unfortunate in not meeting you.
