It is gratifying to find that you have had such good returns from your flock at Camden.  I have always thought that sheepfarming there would pay better than any thing else.

I have heard from the Lachlan this morning and I regret to say that my loss is much more than I thought it was.  I fear I will have a deficiency of about 9000 all chiefly through mismanagement, but I must hope for better luck of which I have had a fair share of late.
