it is so level that the eye cannot tell which way the declivity is, and which is only about 6 inches to the mile.  I have only returned from there last Monday where my shearing is going on.  The country is now very dry and the feed is very short, still the stock are in fine condition through the early vegetation brought on by the March rains which I alluded to.  Many of the runs are overstocked and consequently very bare, in fact the fault of many is the
