being about 25 per cent.  I have however been able to sell a large number of fat stock at fair prices within the last 4 months, and I have had a very good lambing, having cut 21,000 lambs from about 26000 Ewes being about 80 per cent, which considering that the sheep were running in large flocks of from 4,000 to 7,000 in paddocks together is perhaps the best lambing I ever had at any time.  This was owing to a most extraordinary fall of rain we had in March.  It lasted for several days; and
