of drought we have passed through, and also by the low price of stock.  Between the sinking of wells in my waterless country, with the "whims" troughs, tanks &c required to work the wells, the making of dams across the dry creeks to catch the unfrequent rains, and the fencing and subdividing the run into 12 Paddocks, building of shed, house &c &c, I found I had expended a large sum;  and I had liabilities amount of £30,000
