Tell your Brother with my kindest regards that I sent him Mr. Egertons address a few days before I received his last letter asking for it.  In case however my letter may have miscarried I enclose it.

We have not had any thing like sufficient rain in the interior.  The hollows are not filled, and even the vegetation requires more rain.
